A few weeks ago Sat sent me an enquiry explaining that it’s his wedding anniversary coming up in December and he would like to surprise his wife by organising a photo shoot in Sydney. I was very touched as I thought it was such a lovely and cute idea! I usually get enquiries from females- girls, brides, mums… Guys are rarely involved in planning photo shoots and often all the initiative comes from their female partners.
Sat was initially after studio portraits, but I explained that I prefer shooting on location and there are so many stunning locations in and around Sydney! Besides, it’s a completely different experience, the photos come out much more personalised than the standard studio shots.
So after getting Sat to know a little bit more I learned that there was a very special place in Sydney – the Observatory Hill with the view to Harbour Bridge. This was the first place where Sat took Seema when she first arrived to Sydney from overseas. So once we picked the spot for the photo shoot, I gave some recommendations on what to wear and what looks best in the photos. I was very excited to meet Seema on the day of the photo shoot. No need to say she is absolutely gorgeous, you can see for yourself!
I really enjoyed photographing this beautiful couple and hopefully have captured all the fun we had during the photo shoot
I hope to see Sat and Seema again and photograph their family in the future!
